Img2Vector is a free tool that turns a picture into a model for 3D printing. By using this site you accept the terms below. If any of them does not suit you, simply do not use the service.

1. What the service is

The service takes an uploaded image, processes it and gives the result back: an SVG, or a model as 3MF or STL. There is no registration, there are no accounts, and nothing is charged. The tool is provided as it is, with no promise of availability: it may be switched off, restarted or changed at any time and without notice.

2. The code is open

The source code of Img2Vector is released under the MIT licence: anyone may use it, change it and run their own copy, commercial use included, as long as the copyright notice is kept. The licence covers the program; this site is just one running instance of it, and the terms below describe how that instance behaves.

3. Your pictures stay yours

The operator claims no rights either to the images you upload or to the models made from them. You may use the result however you like, commercial use included. Processed files are never published and never handed to anyone else.

4. The content is your responsibility

By uploading an image you confirm that:

you are entitled to process it — it is your own work, or you have the rights holder's permission;
it breaks no law and contains nothing that may not be distributed.

The operator does not inspect what is uploaded and is not answerable for what you process. Access may be restricted without explanation — for instance under excessive load, or when limits are being worked around.

5. No warranties

The service is provided as is, with no warranty of any kind: not of the accuracy of the result, not of the model being printable, not of it meeting your expectations. The printability report is a hint, not a promise — the final word belongs to your slicer and to you.

The operator is not liable for any damage arising from use of the service, including a failed print, wasted material, wasted time or lost files. Check the model before printing and keep your originals: the service is not storage and backs nothing up.

6. Supporting the author

Contributions on Patreon and Boosty are voluntary. They are thanks to the author rather than payment for a service: they grant no extra rights, create no obligations and are not refundable. Every feature is equally available to everyone.

7. Changes to these terms

The terms may change; the version published on this page is the one in force. The date of the last change is shown at the top.
